Sustainability in your company’s IT:
VENDOSOFT’s sustainability pledge
In order to achieve the Paris climate targets, the responsibility borne by companies is set to increase in the future. Sustainability is the buzz word of our age. And sustainability doesn’t just mean ecological action. Meeting the needs of today’s generations without compromising future generations requires a balance between the environment, society and the economy. We support that.
Learn more about VENDOSOFT’s sustainability pledge!
As a used software dealer and licence optimiser, we’ve identified four fields of action that we consider to be particularly relevant:
The people we work with are central to our success.
We integrate sustainability and climate protection into our business activities.
We promote sustainable consumption with our range of used software licences.
Doing business ethically is a matter of course for us.
These four principles form the guiding framework for VENDOSOFT’s sustainability pledge and thus also for our daily actions.
They refer to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda:
Because…
… the people we work with are important to us, we are committed to good working conditions and a good atmosphere.
Respect for our employees, customers, service providers and suppliers is firmly embedded company philosophy at VENDOSOFT. We see work-life balance, the compatibility of work and family life, working from home and modern workstations as a matter of course – along with training and knowledge transfer. We value every person regardless of their personal characteristics and promote the protection of our employees’ health.
… sustainability and climate protection are important to us, we have optimised our energy use in our offices and 100% electricity of the electricity we use comes from renewable energies. As far as possible, we steer clear of printed documents and ask our partners and service providers to follow suit. Under the three-pronged approach of avoidance, reduction and offsetting, we strive for CO2 neutrality in the business areas we can influence.
… sustainable consumption is important us, we are committed to a resource-saving and repeated use of software by dealing in used licences. The corresponding long-term use of hardware avoids the early disposal of precious and polluting resources.
By offering cost-effective used software, we also contribute to a position where access to high-quality technology is not a question of capital. We take on a responsible role in our customers’ digital transformation. The aim is to provide them with the best possible support in implementing their corporate digital responsibility and achieving their climate protection goals.
